The Meditation Pokémon is flexing its way into Mega Raids and that chic blue-pants shiny is absolutely worth chasing! 🧘✨ Mega Medicham is back in Mega Raids from May 27 through June 2, 2026, and with only three weaknesses to exploit, you'll want to come fully prepared. Here's your complete guide to taking it down fast!

Detail Info

Raid type Mega Raid Type FightingFighting / PsychicPsychic Trainers needed 3–5 recommended Shiny available ✅ Yes beige body, blue pants! Mega Energy (first) 200 Mega Energy (repeat) 40 Weather boost Cloudy ☁️ or Windy 🌬️

🧘 Weaknesses — What Brings It Down

Mega Medicham is a FightingFighting/PsychicPsychic-type, which gives it exactly three weaknesses:

GhostGhost, FlyingFlying, and FairyFairy-type moves are all super effective pick whichever type you have the strongest team for and stack them deep.

Be careful though Mega Medicham hits back hard with both FightingFighting and PsychicPsychic-type attacks, so avoid bringing Pokémon that are doubly vulnerable to either. RockRock and FightingFighting-type moves are resisted too, so leave those at home. Keep it strictly to GhostGhost, FlyingFlying, or FairyFairy! 🚫

✨ Shiny Medicham Worth Hunting?

Shiny Medicham has a fun and distinctive look its usual white body turns beige while its iconic red pants flip to a cool blue. Easy to spot and satisfying to find! 👖

The Shiny rate from Mega Raids is approximately 1 in 64 (1.56%) lower than 5-Star odds but still worth hunting across multiple battles. Remember you catch regular Medicham after the raid, not the Mega form you'll need to bank Mega Energy and Mega Evolve your own Medicham later.

If you find a Shiny, it's a guaranteed catch swap straight to Pinap Berry! 🍬

🤔 Is Mega Medicham Worth Using?

Honest answer Mega Medicham is an F-Tier attacker in both FightingFighting and PsychicPsychic raid categories and not recommended for PvE content. Its stats just don't have the raw power needed to compete with the top Mega attackers in either type.

Where it does have value is as a Mega Boost support Pokémon. When Mega Medicham is on the field, it boosts all FightingFighting-type move damage for your entire raid group making it useful in lobbies where your teammates are running strong FightingFighting-type attackers like Terrakion or Machamp.

For PvP, Medicham has a loyal following in Great League thanks to CounterFighting's fast energy generation and Dynamic PunchFighting's high damage output. It's a consistent, reliable pick that never fully goes out of style.

Best PvP moveset: CounterFighting + Dynamic PunchFighting + Ice PunchIce

💡 Not a top raider but worth having for the Mega boost, the Pokédex entry, and that lovely blue-pants shiny. Raid it a few times and move on! 🧘

Stay zen, stay focused, and go get that blue-pants shiny! 🧘✨
