🔥 Shadow Entei Raid Day — May 2
Shadow Entei takes centre stage in Shadow Raids from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time on May 2, with boosted shiny odds and the Remote Raid limit temporarily raised to 20.
Shadow Entei is an S-Tier 
Fire-type attacker one of the best in the entire game. Three hours, boosted shiny rate, up to 6 free Raid Passes (14 with the $4.99 ticket). The white and silver Shiny is absolutely gorgeous. Don't miss it!
🐷 Lechonk Community Day — May 9 ⭐
Lechonk Community Day is Saturday May 9, 2–5 PM local time, featuring 2× catch Candy, increased spawns, and a chance to encounter Shiny Lechonk. Evolve Lechonk during the event or up to four hours afterwards to get Oinkologne with the exclusive Fast Attack Mud Slap.
The shiny odds are 1 in 20 fantastic for a Community Day. Shiny Lechonk is a rosy pink colour and it's adorable. Look out for Special Background Lechonk in the wild too!

🌸 Spring Marathon 2026 — May 12–18
The Spring Marathon runs May 12–18, bringing the debut of Flittle and its evolution Espathra alongside Pikachu wearing a marathon visor. The event includes themed egg hatches featuring Pichu, Togepi, Happiny, Eevee, and Buneary, plus free Timed Research and XP-focused bonuses.
Flittle is a brand-new Paldean Psychic
-type making its GO debut evolves into Espathra with just 50 Candy. The ½ Egg Hatch Distance GO Pass milestone is the real gem here. Stock those Super Incubators!
🐉 Deino Community Day Classic — May 16 ⭐
Deino returns for Community Day Classic on May 16, same 2–5 PM window. Evolve Zweilous before 9 PM to get Hydreigon with Brutal Swing
its signature Dark-type Charged Attack. The main bonus is 3× XP for catches, plus extended Incense and Lures.
Deino has historically been one of the hardest Pokémon to find in the wild, making this a golden opportunity to stock up on Hydreigon Candy. Brutal Swing is legitimately one of the best Dark-type moves in the game any Hydreigon without it is overdue for this upgrade!

🦾 Mega Falinks Super Mega Raid Day — May 23 🆕
Mega Falinks makes its Pokémon GO debut on Saturday, May 23, 2–5 PM local time, in Super Mega Raids with boosted shiny odds and up to five additional free Raid Passes. Timed Research during the event includes encounters with Mawile.
The event also allows trainers to use Mega Energy to quickly increase their Pokémon's Mega Level for all levels. Super Mega Raids are tougher than standard Mega Raids but reward Mega Energy and a chance at regular Falinks. The Remote Raid limit rises to 20 on May 22–23 too!
🎌 GO Fest 2026 Tokyo — May 29 – June 1
The crown jewel of the month. Two Pokémon sit at the centre of GO Fest 2026: Mewtwo returns to citywide 5-Star Raids throughout the Tokyo event, while Zeraora makes its Pokémon GO debut as this year's exclusive Mythical encounter via ticketed Special Research.
Shiny Wash Rotom makes its Pokémon GO world debut at the in-person events, and Comfey normally a Hawaii regional will appear in the wild for all in-person ticket holders.
The Pokemon GO Fest 2026 Tokyo event also teases the debut of Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y in massive in-person Super Mega Raids. If that happens, this will be the biggest Pokémon GO moment in years! 🔥

The GO Pass May 2026 runs from May 5 at 10:00 AM to June 2 at 10:00 AM local time, automatically given to all trainers. Major milestones include increased daily Gift limits, extended Daily Adventure Incense duration, Stardust and XP bonuses from hatching eggs, and a Suicune encounter reward.
The standout feature is the unlimited GO Points bonus running May 30–31 no daily cap, making it the perfect time to push ranks and finish your progression. Mark those dates!
